21 Self-Care Ideas for 2021
Logging into Instagram may lead you to believe that taking a bath – and posting it – is the best form of self-care. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a good bath and an elaborate skincare routine. But self-care is a little bigger than a social media post.
Self-care requires assessing your overall state (physical, mental, and emotional) and saying, “Hey, how are you?” and with that information determining what you may need. For those who want to do something other than bathe, I want to share 21 self-care ideas with you to help you be your best self.
1. Start your day off with a glass of water
2. Do a brain dump to declutter your thoughts
3. Sit up straight
4. Have a technology detox
5. Eat breakfast
6. Reorganize your space
7. Take a stroll outside
8. Go to sleep early
9. Listen to a podcast
10. Indulge in a fancy at-home meal
11. Treat yourself to flowers
12. Do whatever “nothing” means to you

Obviously these are just a few suggestions, but think about what rejuvenates you and makes you feel like your best self.
