Quarantine Comfort Looks
It’s week whatever of us being on punishment and it was announced that the state where I reside will be on lockdown until June 10. Although I’m like wtf, I definitely understand. Since we’ll be in the house for a minute and I have nothing better do to, I decided to put together a quarantine look book. Here’s what I would wear for a store run, my workday, quarantine and chill and a home workout. For those of you that know me, it’s always comfort over everything and being in the house all the time supports that mission. Enjoy! :)
Oh store runs – it’s the only time I get to see people in the flesh. If I’m going to Target or picking up food, I try to look somewhat presentable just in case I run into someone I know (it never happens). You can never go wrong with a graphic tee and sweats, and Ugg boots are the ultimate lazy shoe.
Thankfully I don’t have to show my face for all of my conference calls, but sometimes I do and don’t want to look crazy. I literally had a coworker who didn’t know he was on camera shirtless and rocking a durag on one of my calls. Knee grows. And being that I’m now in a supervisory role, I want to at least look like something lol. So here I’m wearing a ribbed top with pearls on the sleeves and some grey joggers. Cute up top, comfy on the bottom — just in case…
Granted you’re supposed to maintain 6ft social distance, you still have to look cute for when bae slides through. Yes hair salons and nail shops are on pause, but you can still throw on a chill little fit and keep it cute. I got this two piece outfit from Windsor a minute ago and it makes the cakes look great :)
Home workout. Need I say more? I get basically all of my workout clothes from the sale section at Target because why not? And remember friends, stay hydrated!
